"Normalizing Acting-Out Behaviors in Kids"
This one day seminar will make you cry about the tragic histories of abused kids and laugh about the dumb things we do when kids make us mad or frustrated. You will learn how to disengage the emotional triggers and have some fun giving kids the conflict of their bad choices. You will develop a philosohical framework for understanding behavior and effective strategies for individual and family therapy.

- Differentiating behavioral problems (attachment disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant, PTSD, childhood Bi-Polar, FAS, Grief and Loss)
- Normalizing behaviors for clinicians (Nature/Biology -vs- Nurture/Abusive)
- Normalize child behaviors in school and community mental health systems
- Family of origin issues (experiential techniques)
- Thinking "Outside the Box" - strategies for teachers, clinicians, treatment centers
